These Terms and Conditions apply to all goods and services provided by Solar Prime Energy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 15662777 ) (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By requesting a quotation, placing an order, or proceeding with installation, you (“the Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

Company means Solar Prime Energy Ltd.

Customer means the person(s) purchasing goods or services.

Goods means solar panels, inverters, battery storage systems, mounting equipment, and any associated components.

Services means design, supply, installation, commissioning, and aftercare services.

Contract means the agreement formed between the Company and the Customer.

2. Our Role

Solar Prime Energy Ltd provides sales, design, and project coordination services. We may carry out installations through approved and suitably accredited subcontractors acting on our behalf.

3. Quotations

Each quotation remains valid for 30 days unless we state otherwise.

We base our quotations on the information you provide and may revise them after completing a site survey.

Any changes to system design, access, structural requirements, or electrical works may result in a revised quotation.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

A contract is formed once:

  • The Customer accepts the quotation in writing, and
  • Any required deposit has been received.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order prior to installation if unforeseen issues arise.

5. Deposits and Payments

You must pay any required deposit (if applicable) before we schedule installation.

You must pay the remaining balance upon completion unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Where finance is used, payments are governed by the finance provider’s separate terms.

Failure to make payment may result in delays, suspension of services, or recovery action.

6. Installation

Installation dates are estimates and may change due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

The Customer must provide safe access to the property, including lofts, roofs, and electrical equipment.

The Customer confirms they have authority to approve installation at the property.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the property is structurally suitable.
  • Obtaining landlord or freeholder consent where required.
  • Informing us of any known asbestos or structural issues.
8. Grid Connection and Permissions

Grid applications (G98/G99) are subject to approval by the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO).

We are not responsible for delays or refusals by third parties.

Export payments under the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) are arranged directly by the Customer with an energy supplier.

9. Performance and Savings

Estimated savings and system performance figures are projections only.

Weather conditions, usage patterns, shading, and grid factors can affect actual system performance.

We do not guarantee specific financial returns or bill reductions.

10. Warranties

Manufacturer warranties apply to Goods supplied (including panels, inverters, and batteries).

Each product manufacturer sets its own warranty terms.

Installation workmanship warranties will be provided where applicable.

We will provide all warranty documents after completing the installation.

11. Aftercare and Maintenance

Solar systems require minimal maintenance.

Ongoing monitoring and maintenance remain the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise agreed.

12. Cancellations and Consumer Rights

Where the Customer is a consumer and the Contract is agreed off-premises or at a distance, you have the legal right to cancel the Contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

The cancellation period begins the day after we form the Contract.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly in writing by email or post. Details of how to cancel are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, available on our website.

If you request that installation or other services begin within the 14-day cancellation period and then choose to cancel, you may be required to pay reasonable costs for work already carried out, as permitted by law.

Once we complete the installation, the statutory cooling-off right ends. This does not affect your rights under consumer law in the event of a fault or issue with the Goods or Services.

You can find full details of your cancellation rights and refunds in your Customer Contract and our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

13. Faults and Complaints

If you experience any issues with our Goods or Services, or wish to raise a complaint, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate and seek to resolve the matter.

We operate a formal complaints handling process, details of which are set out in our Complaints Policy, available on our website. This explains how to make a complaint, our response times, and the steps we will take to address your concerns.

If a complaint cannot be resolved directly with us, you may be entitled to escalate the matter through an independent dispute resolution process, depending on the nature of the complaint.

This complaints process does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

The Customer’s total payments under the Contract limit our total liability.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, supply chain disruption, or regulatory changes.

16. Assignment

The Company may assign or subcontract its obligations under this Contract. The Customer may not assign without prior written consent.

17. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

18. Governing Law
